About the Journal

The Latin American and Caribbean Journal of the Law of the Sea (LACJLOS) is published by the Brazilian Institute for the Law of the Sea (BILOS) and is affiliated with the Postgraduate Program in Law at Centro Universitário Dom Helder. It employs a rolling publication model and provides open access. The journal seeks to disseminate knowledge on the Law of the Sea and promote academic debate, especially within the context of Latin America and the Caribbean.
